CENTRO FASHION STUDIO
Project Info
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Completion: 2012

Project Type: Office/Industrial

Area: 6,200 Sq ft

This project involved the renovation of an existing building to create a studio and production space for Centro Fashion Studio, a fashion design studio based in Dhaka. Combining both creative workspace and showroom functionality, the second floor was converted into a studio and office area, while the roof was transformed into a production space, providing a flexible and efficient layout.

The design focused on low-cost interventions, maximizing the use of natural light and ventilation to create an airy and inviting atmosphere. Existing brick surfaces were exposed and retained, adding a raw, industrial character to the space, while white-painted walls and dark wooden accents provided warmth and contrast.

The result was an environment that fostered both creativity and craft, reflecting the essence of the fashion industry. The minimalist approach ensured the project remained affordable without sacrificing aesthetic quality, offering an inspiring space that supported both the creative and business aspects of the studio.
